My name is Dr. Alan Scott. I’m a retired orthopedic surgeon. I’m also a disabled Vietnam veteran.
I have had multiple problems due to injuries I sustained not only to both my knees, both my hips but to my low back as well. I have a fused neck and came to Tao Acupuncture Clinic and saw Han deal with these chronic problems that I’ve had for over 40 years.
And when I came in I was having a lot of difficulties walking and had pain that radiated down my right leg all the way down to my foot. My right ankle was injured and had severe pain in my right shoulder when I tried to reach up above my head or reach across my body.
Acupuncture Treatment
And as I continued to get treatment, I have improved in essentially all areas, particularly my low back and down my right leg. I essentially have no pain in my right foot or right leg. After the acupuncture treatment, there’s still some tightness and some swelling. At the end of every treatment, my right shoulder is basically pain-free. It comes back after a couple of days but each treatment seems to make it last much longer.
The improvement I would say is about 80%. And I would highly recommend Han’s treatment for anybody. He’s able to listen to what my complaints were and approach every problem in a very professional manner. He comes highly recommended by me.
